I was born in the UK and moved to Sydney in 2018 where I am currently working as a Principal Quality Engineer at Qantas Loyalty.
In over 5 years in different quality roles I have always tailored strategies to whatever project I am working on, for this reason I believe that an effective tester is a resourceful tester. A tester should have a wide variety of tools and knowledge at their disposal that can be used to provide the most appropriate quality inputs for any project. In my role, I always strive to emulate the end user of the product, to help create an end result that meets specification but is also easy, intuitive, and enjoyable to use.
I would describe myself as meticulous and thorough and someone who is always willing to speak up when there is a problem. I am motivated and take a personal interest in what I work on, taking the initiative to do what is required to ensure that all aspects meet an agreed standard, from planning through to post-deployment. I am also a people person, I enjoy working and socializing with different interesting people, helping them with their problems and learning everything they can teach me.
